I'll be fully transparent here. I did not wake up like this. For the longest, I would run from my own glow, dimming my light to preserve the feelings of others. The truth is, at times I still do, albeit much less often. In my journeys, I have come to understand that a lot of women - particularly the melanated, have the same habit. This habit is cross-generational, is a killer of potential, and has prevented many queens from recognizing and capitalizing on their worth - thereby, negatively impacting communities across the globe.
Listen in as I discuss the generational curse of women diminishing their inner light on TheNewzRoom podcast.
